Speed Skating Alberta 's 2003 Casino Fundraising event

As a registered not-for-profit organization, SSA relies heavily on the charitable funds we receive from the province's gaming pool to help cover our expenses and to continue to support all levels of speed skating in Alberta.

In order to qualify for gaming funds, we do have to supply volunteers to cover various roles during our event at Cowboys Casino in Calgary on March 28th and 29th, 2023.

We've created a volunteer signup detailing the positions and hours that need to be covered.  Volunteers must be 18 years or older.  If you have questions about what any of the roles entails, please email director@aassa.ca and our Casino Chair Cherise can provide you with more information.

Provincial Team members- this is a great way to fulfill your volunteer hours requirements.  If you are under the age of 18, an adult family member or friend can complete the hours on your behalf!
