SSC Pre-Season Workshop: Officials

SSC is hosting a pre-season workshop that will also double as our ISU Regional Clinic on September 20. This workshop will be provided by our ISU Referees and Starters who will have attended the ISU Online Video Seminars and would like to share the take aways with our National level officials.

The purpose of the workshop will be to provide information on rule applications, and rule interpretations. We will discuss the false start rule and when it will be applied at National competitions this season.

Event: ISU Regional Clinic for Referees and Starters

When: September 20, 2023 beginning at 8:00PM ET

Where: Virtual - Microsoft Teams (click here to register)

Audience: Referees and Starters from Short Track and Long Track

• Material tailored for level 3+, all levels accepted

• Level 3+ can engage in the clinic [open mic]
• Level 1 & 2 can write questions in the chat box

This workshop will be the first of three that will take place this season to touch base with officials for anything that relates to racing, rules, or hosting. The remaining workshops will take place on:

• Mid-season checkpoint

• December 13, 2023 at 8PM ET (6PM MT)

• Post-season debrief

• April 10, 2024 at 8PM ET (6PM MT)
