Time: Saturday March 21, 2020 11:00 – 17:00

Location: West Edmonton Mall Mayfield Toyota Ice Palace, Edmonton, Alberta

Fun short track meet at West Edmonton Mall's Ice Palace. Skaters choose four distances that they want to race during the event. Other fun races will also be in the program. The number and type of these events will depend on registration and time. Grand Finale is the water puddle slide! All events are superfinals

Who: Any registered speed skaters!

Entry Fees: $40/skater. (Please make club cheques payable to the Edmonton Speed Skating Association. )

Entry Deadline: The registration deadline is Friday March 6th, midnight.

Draft Schedule:

• 10:30 a.m. Mats on the ice/Flood
• 11:00 a.m. ish Warm-ups
• 11:30 a.m. coaches meeting
• 11:30 a.m. flood
• 11:45 a.m. ish races begin
• 4:45 pm mats off

• Floods and Breaks will be dependent on ice conditions and number of skaters.

** Bring extra clothes for the sliding competition!

On-Site Food and Recreation: The Ice Palace Rink is situated in the heart of West Edmonton Mall. As such, there is easy access to all types of food and beverages, as well as shopping, plan extra time to find parking. Have fun! Best entrances to access the Ice Palace are #48, and #50
