Speed Skating Alberta (SSA) and its Board of Directors invites you to attend the 2022 Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Conference. This year, we are looking forward to hosting you in person, in Calgary. The AGM and Conference will be held on:
• Friday, May 27, 2022 from 1700-2100 (Tentative)
o Welcome
o Workshop
o Social
• Saturday May 28, 2022 from 0900-1700 (Tentative)
o AGM
o Workshops (2-3 sessions)
o President’s meeting
o Close
Our intent is to schedule the AGM first thing Saturday morning (tentative: 0900-1100).
An opportunity to participate at the AGM virtually will be made available. In addition to the formalities related to an AGM, including the election of the new board, we wanted to take the opportunity this year to connect in person as a province through a series of workshops. Topics we will aim to cover in these workshops include athlete, coaching and sport development, Safe Sport, competition schedule, membership, and strategic priorities to name a few.
