Cancelled: AASSA Level 3 Referee Clinic (April 3-5, 2020)

Update, 13 March 2020: The AASSA Level 3 Referee Clinic has been cancelled.

Please note that the clinic is cancelled due to facilitator availability and recommendations by the Government of Alberta for those returning from travel outside of Canada after March 12 to self-isolate for a period of 14 days. Further information will be provided by the VP – Officials.

Alberta Speed Skating and the Calgary Olympic Oval will be hosting a Level 3 Referee Clinic with a dual focus of Short and Long Track. This Clinic will cover all the required material that will help you in your ongoing development as a national referee, whether in Short Track or Long Track. This course will meet the requirements for the Level 3B Referee upgrade with Speed Skating Canada and is open to all Certified Level 2 Referees only.

Dates: Friday, April 3rd to Sunday, April 5th

April 3, Friday 6pm to 9pm
April 4, Saturday: 8am to 5pm
April 5, Sunday: 8am to 1pm

*Location: Calgary Olympic Oval Boardroom

*Clinic Cost: $150

*Clinic Instructors: Stuart Gibbs (Short Track) and Dave Thomson (Long Track)
