Canadian Age Class Short Track Championships
The announcement for the 2010 Canadian Age Class Championships can now be downloaded from this site. Just go to the Event calendar and click on the page icon next to the event name. The competition is being held in Campbellton, March 26-28. The coaches for Team Alberta are; Tim Cooney and Beth Whitmee.
The Science of Speed Skating
Our very own Mike Marshall, AASSA Technical Director, now has a regular column in the Coaching section of the AASSA website. The Science of Speed Skating will present important concepts to our members with the emphasis on the more technical aspects of the sport. Mike encourages skaters and coaches alike to provide their input with comments and questions about the presented topics. Suggestions on future topics are welcomed as well.
