6. Durness Oval Classic

The Lloydminster Border Blades regret to inform everyone that they have canceled the Durness Oval Classic, scheduled for January 18th. Due to the recent severe weather, and the freezing conditions present earlier this fall, it has been determined that the slough ice cannot be made ready for competition this winter.

We are hopeful that we can stage this unique event at some point in the future, but for this year the weather has not cooperated. Please amend your coming events calendar to reflect this cancellation. Thank you.
